Economist by profession, passionate about numbers and a humorous speaker, Valer Hancaș has over 15 years of experience in international retail companies.

Over the time, he held various management positions in Sales, Acquisitions or Marketing Departments. Currently, he is Corporate Affairs & Communication manager for Kaufland Romania, a company in which he has been active for almost 11 years.

Valer appreciates interacting with other people and the activities that he is responsible of, fit him like a glove. Everytime he has the chance, he shares with enthusiasm the values and visions of Kaufland and what it means to work for this brand. Since Kaufland’s strategy revolves around the active implication in communities on three major levels: environment, education and health, Valer Hancaș supports and promotes, internally and externally, the brand’s CSR & Sponsorship projects. He coordinates and contributes to the implementation of innovative projects proposed by the company’s employees.
